Celebrate MUSIC, ARTS and NATURE at the Malasimbo Festival on February 18 & 19 (coinciding with the full moon!). The festival will be held outdoors in a totally natural environment at the foot of Mount Malasimbo on the northern tip of the island of Mindoro, with a breath-taking view of Puerto Galera Bay, a member of the worldwide Club of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World.

The festival aims to blend traditional and contemporary arts and culture together with music performances while working towards the protection and sustainability of the natural environment.

Music Program:

The music program will feature live performances of local and international artists in the open-air natural amphitheater.

Cultural Program:

Contemporary art installations by Filipino artists will blend with nature:
Agnes Arellano, Agnes Arellano, Billy Bonnevie, Denis Lagdameo, Kawayan de Guia, Chitz Ramirez, Dondi & Grace Katigbak, Goldie Poblador, Mark Salvatus, Maïa & Olivia d'Aboville.

A Mangyan village will showcase the houses of the 7 different Mangyan Tribes showing their indigenous art and crafts such as hand-loom weaving, basketry, ethnic jewelry made of beads where all their hand-crafted products will be available for sale.

Recreational program:

The festival will offer a massage spa where the travel-weary city dwellers from Manila can decompress with nature.
A colourful eco-bazaar will showcase different products by Django, Yadu, Tepiña, Mia Casal and Echostore.
